We are seeking a talented Data Officer to join the International Network for Data on Impact and Government Outcomes (INDIGO) project.
The INDIGO initiative includes community activities, a system for sharing data, and various datasets available as open data on our website. As an emerging data collaborative, we believe that helping more people share and use quality data will improve both the efficiency and effectiveness of these projects. Our mission is summarised as better data for better social outcomes.
Reporting to the Senior Data Steward, the INDIGO Data Officer will play a key role in maintaining and updating the Impact Bond Dataset and other INDIGO datasets and tools. This is an opportunity to learn about two important aspects of the GO Lab work: outcomes-based contracts and data for public good (or how to use data to design better social programmes).
The successful candidates will be equipped with professional experience of data science or other quantitative analysis, as well as experience of following detailed data processes. You will be a self-starter, able to use initiative and work collaboratively with others in fast-moving and demanding environment, and to organise and prioritise your work efficiently. Excellent communications skills and meticulous attention to detail are also essential.
This position is fixed-term for 12 months. Further details for this position can be found here in full job description. To apply, click the link to the University of Oxford job details page here.
