At the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis, we set up the Emergency Responses and Government Outcomes peer learning group. This specifically explored how the crisis was affecting cross-sector efforts to improve social outcomes. Multiple aspects were explored, including impacts on contracting and financial management, as well as what learning could be taken from previous emergency situations in particular parts of the world. This sessions ran from April to June 2020. There are no longer running, but you can watch session recordings here.
At this year's Social Outcomes Conference (SOC21), many of our sessions will touch upon the effects of Covid-19 to social services in the UK and beyond, including effects on public procurement, outcomes-based contracting and and cross-sector partnerships. You can find out more about SOC21 and book your place here.
You can also join our other peer learning groups, such as the Procurement of Government Outcomes (POGO) Club, where we will continue to tackle issues related to the effects of Covid-19 on social services.
