About Jessica

Jessica is the Senior Policy Engagement Officer at the Government Outcomes Lab (GO Lab).

She works on GO Lab's policy engagement efforts, connecting cutting-edge research to government and policy stakeholders to drive meaningful impact. Her work includes organising specialist workshops for governments on cross-sector partnerships and outcomes-based policymaking, heading the annual Social Outcomes Conference, curating policy briefings, and moderating and chairing both the Engaging with Evidence series and the Cross-Whitehall Knowledge Exchange Forum.

Before joining the GO Lab, Jessica served as Deputy Head of the Church of England’s Parliamentary Unit. In this role, she supported 26 Bishops and Archbishops in the House of Lords, the Second Church Estates Commissioner (MP) in the House of Commons, and a team of parliamentary researchers and policy advisors, playing a key role in the Church’s political engagement.

Jessica’s earlier experience includes roles as a Parliamentary Researcher and Advisor, where she focused on policy areas such as immigration, welfare, children’s issues, education, and development across Eastern and Southern Africa. She has co-authored two papers that have been used in UK Parliament. Additionally, she worked as a Community Organiser in East London, gaining grassroots political experience, and has experience in the charity and financial sectors in New Zealand and Luxembourg. respectively. Jessica holds a first-class B.A. in International Relations from Durham University.
