Leigh works as a Project Associate at the GO Lab, where he supports the team across a range of activities including practitioner engagement, and the delivery of events and workshops. Prior to joining the GO Lab Leigh worked as a Business Development Officer for an international development consultancy specialising in social protection. In this role he coordinated the development of social policy intervention proposals in response to donor tenders. Other previous roles include Research Intern at the Gurkha Peace Foundation, which campaigned for settlement rights of Gurkha veterans.
Leigh is currently a Doctoral candidate in Policy Research and Practice at the University of Bath. He holds a MPA in International Development from the University of York. His dissertation was a political economy analysis of the pension schemes in Kenya and Uganda, where he explored how power relations across individuals and organisations shape policy formation. His dissertation was awarded a distinction. Leigh also holds a BA in Politics and International Development from the University of Kent.
