Richard Puleston began his career in 1996 in the Civil Service as a Management Trainee in the Department for Education and Employment. In 1999 he joined the General Medical Council as a Senior Policy Advisor working on Revalidation (performance management for doctors). Richard joined Essex County Council in 2001 and has held various posts. He is currently Director for Strategy, Insight and Engagement.
