Toby Eccles OBE, Founder and Director of Social Finance explains what he thinks SIBs will look like in the future.

Toby Eccles OBE is the Founder and Director of Social Finance, a non-profit organisation that seeks to find solutions to the world's most pressing problems. Toby and his team at Social Finance have been heavily involved in social impact bonds from the beginning and act as an intermediary. He shares his insights into what the future of SIBs will look like and more specifically what the role of intermediaries will be.

Will SIBs scale up in the next few years? Can intermediaries support government to develop the market? What can we learn from a 'market in its infancy'?

This video was taken at our International Outcomes conference last year. Toby joined us for the head to head debate with Professor Mildred Warner from Cornell University about 'Making markets in the welfare state'. We are excited for the upcoming conference on 5-6th September, we will keep you updated in the coming months.
