Margaret Labban

Pricing & Market Access Solutions Manager, Global Pricing Innovations

Dr. Labban has over 17 years of experience leading successful research projects across multiple disciplines from molecular biology, bioinformatics and genetics, to drug pricing data and analytics. Over the past 9 years her areas of interest have focused on pricing and market access within the pharmaceutical sector, including assessment of drug pricing policies and major reforms, and exploration of market access strategies including frameworks to navigate international reference pricing (IRP) rules as well as innovative payment schemes. She has extensive experience working cross-functionally with data scientists, consultants, and health economists on data-driven insights and thought leadership pieces.

As the Pricing & Market Access Solutions specialist at GPI, Dr.Labban is responsible for delivering tailored solutions to address pricing and market access challenges. Prior to joining GPI, she was a Product Manager, working within the commercial team in the Life Sciences business to develop product enhancements, cross-disciplinary projects, and thought leadership.

Dr. Labban holds a doctorate degree in Neuroscience from McGill University, along with a graduate degree in Business Administration from the John Molson School of Business, Canada.

Joseph Pryor

Senior Climate Change Specialist, the Carbon Markets and Innovation Practice, the World Bank

Joe Pryor is a Senior Climate Change Specialist in the Carbon Markets and Innovation Practice in the World Bank. Joe has over 15 years’ experience in developing and implementing climate policy—working with both government and the private sector. Prior to joining the World Bank, he worked for the Australian Government where he developed a range of carbon pricing instruments and served as a negotiator on Australia’s delegation to the UNFCCC and ICAO. Joe also worked as a consultant, advising governments and large businesses on managing carbon financial liabilities, as well as developing ‘Project Design Documents’ for renewable energy projects in the Asia-Pacific under the Kyoto Protocol’s Clean Development Mechanism. Joe has Master’s Degrees in Applied Finance and Environmental Policy and degrees in Economics and Forestry from the Australian National University.

Andrew is co-Founder of Bridges Outcomes Partnerships a He is a Director of Kirklees Better Outcomes Partnership, GM Homes Partnership, Homelessness Support, the Single Homeless Prevention Service and is a Trustee of West London Zone.  

Prior to Bridges, Andrew was Managing Director of a social enterprise “Baobab” in Madagascar, and a non-exec board member of two other financial inclusion social enterprises, in Senegal and China.

Miquel de Paladella

Founder and CEO, UpSocial

Miquel de Paladella is the founder and CEO of UpSocial, a firm specialised in designing, implementing and scaling innovative solutions to social problems. He also leads UpSocial’s spin off focused on implementing education innovations such as JUMP Math. He is an economist, social entrepreneur and consultant with extensive experience in international organizations such as Ashoka, UNICEF, or Plan International, among others. He advises national and international institutions such as the Inter-American Development Bank, the European Commission and the Carasso Foundation, among others. He is also professor of innovation at the University of Barcelona, University Ramon Llull and at ESADE Institute for Social Innovation.

Miquel has participated in the design of RIKX, Rotterdam’s local marketplace for social impact, a project that recently won the 2021 Global Bloomberg Mayors’ Challenge.
