In their ongoing commitment to highlighting innovative government efforts, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) has recently unveiled an informative video that delves into the details of the Life Chances Fund.

The Life Chances Fund is an innovative, £70 million fund - one of the largest of its kind in the world. Set up to help solve complex social problems, it is helping more than 60,000 people to lead more productive and happy lives.

Now nearing the end of its life-cycle, the Fund, managed by National Lottery Community Fund on behalf of DCMS, has helped 29 projects across England deliver a range of targeted local services, from tackling homelessness to supporting those with mental health conditions into work.

These projects have been testing the use of social outcomes partnerships to generate public sector efficiencies by delivering better outcomes.

Thank you to our colleagues at DCMS for their work on this video, as well as the Fund's partners, The National Lottery Community Fund and to all of the local commissioners, delivery partners, and funders.
