ICF were commissioned in July 2017 by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to undertake an independent programme-level evaluation of the Life Chances Fund (LCF). After a scoping stage used to refine the evaluation approach, this interim evaluation report examines stakeholder perspectives and insights from the first six launched projects. A final report will follow in 2020. A second evaluation strand, examining the SIB mechanism, will continue to produce evaluation reports until the projects will have completed service delivery in 2025.Â
