Jorge Ikawa works in Brazil as a Data Steward for Latin America at the Government Outcomes Lab, at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. He holds a PhD in Business Economics (2021) from Insper, a BA in Economics (2013), and a BA in Communication (Journalism) (2007), both from the University of São Paulo.
He is also an assistant professor at Insper in disciplines related to quantitative methods, such as Econometrics and Microeconomics, and courses related to social and environmental impact measurement. As a researcher at Insper Metricis, he developed measurement plans for social impact assessment and studies on social impact monetization tools. He is also responsible for coordinate the blog Impacto Social, at the Exame website, one of the most influential Brazilian magazines focusing on business and economy.
