The session featured a brief presentation of the main findings of the study (Part I), followed by a more in-depth discussion structured around three core themes (Part II). We took questions from the audience throughout the discussion. Times are in GMT (London time).

FCDO colleagues introduced the state of play and ambition of the DIBs Pilot Programme as well as provide context to the commissioning of the study (Radana Crhova and Charlie Morgan, FCDO)

Ecorys colleagues presented distillation of key findings (James Ronicle and Kay Lau, Ecorys)    

Part II  

13.35 - Panel discussion

The discussion was structured around three core themes:  

             1)    Four key ingredients in a DIB to increase efficiency and effectiveness in delivery (15 mins)  

             2)    The conditions in which a DIB is most appropriate (15 mins)  

             3)    Lessons learned from DIB application, including lessons from adaptation to COVID-19 (15 mins)
