Andrea S. Patrucco (Ph.D., Politecnico di Milano) is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management in the Department of Marketing and Logistics at the Florida International University College of Business. His research interests are in the field of management of buyer-supplier relationships in both the private and public sectors. He is one of the academic leaders of the International Research Study on Public Procurement Research group and part of the European Union Task Force of Public Procurement. He actively collaborates with government organizations in the United States, such as the National Association of State Procurement Officers and NIGP: the Institute of Public Procurement.
His research has been published in over 50 articles in journals such as the Journal of Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Public Administration Review, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, and the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management.
Andrea is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, Editorial Assistant and Senior Associate Editor for the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, and Lead Guest Editor for several Special Issues including the Journal of Business Logistics, International Journal of Production Economics, Industrial Marketing Management and many others. He is part of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Supply Chain Management, International Journal of Operations and Production Managementand International Journal of Logistics: Research and Applications.
