The Impact Bond Dataset is INDIGO's flagship dataset. Explore projects from around the world, including the policy areas they address, their timelines and the organisations involved.

Use our interactive maps to discover projects at different stages of development. Switch between the two maps using the button in the top-right corner. The marker map shows where projects deliver their services, while the choropleth map uses colour to show the number of projects in each country.

Why do these projects have different names?

Originally known as social impact bonds, these projects are now referred to by different names around the world. In the UK, the community of practice increasingly uses the term social outcomes partnerships to emphasise the collaborative nature of these projects. The international community of practice also uses terms such as pay for success, pay for results, and social benefit bonds.

The INDIGO learning community uses these terms interchangeably, recognising that terminology continues to evolve.
